Departments of transportation typically aggregate data contributed by local jurisdictions, and the consolidated information is distributed to audiences ranging from safety analysts to department management to the public.
Making sense of this complex data and extracting insights is challenging.
This demonstration takes data publicly available and presents an InfoApp™ that helps consumers of this information visualize the results in meaningful ways. It allows users to identify factors that may contribute to collisions, where behaviors are relatively different across jurisdictions, where information might be missing, and other insights that help focus resources on areas that are most critical to public safety.
