The organization needed to increase donations while maintaining operational effectiveness by increasing visibility into databases and applications. It also had to reduce operational costs and improve the success of fundraising campaigns.
It decided to implement an organization-wide BI and analytics environment where users can gather and visualize data through active dashboards, interactive graphs, and parameterized reports, accessible via computers and mobile devices.
We received many requests for custom queries and wanted to empower users to access information on their own. With little training, we created WebFOCUS reports almost immediately and showed our staff how to create and modify reports on their own. Just about every internal group now uses the WebFOCUS environment.
Food For The Poor can better target outreach activities and funding appeals. WebFOCUS has had a positive impact on direct mail, donor relations, and other fundraising activities, helping the organization to respond quickly to humanitarian emergencies.
