The countdown is on: In a few days, we’ll be headed to Information Builders Summit 2016 for what’s sure to be an amazing week. As we close in on the big event, let’s have a cheeky sneak peek into some of the great events we’ve got planned.
The action starts bright and early on Tuesday morning, June 14. The keynote session kicks off promptly at 8:45am so get there in time to snag a good seat. We’ve got a great band lined up to wake us up and start us off on the right note. We’re not revealing any details here, but we promise you – you’ll be able to sing along! You’ll then hear from our CMO Michael Corcoran, and our president and CEO Gerald Cohen, who will give his annual “State of Information Builders” address to the Summit crowd.
We’re excited to welcome funny man Greg Schwem for a mid-morning laugh, followed by Meta Brown of Forbes who will be moderating an Innovation Panel featuring executives from three of our great customers: ACE, Vantiv and Pershing. We’re looking forward to their thoughts on applying BI and analytics to address business challenges.
Did you know that CEO Gerald Cohen and VP of Market Strategy Dr. Rado Kotorov are collaborating on a new book? It’s part historical perspective on the rise of BI and analytics in the midst of other technology evolutions, and part practical guide to the application of these technologies in real world settings. We’re thrilled to unveil an advanced “preview” copy at Summit. Attendees can meet and greet the authors at a special book signing at 5:15pm on Tuesday in the Solutions Pavilion. J.K. Rowling, move over.
And finally, what would a Summit User Conference be without a festive offsite event? This year we’re heading to the Greater Nevada Field’s Freight House District. This venue is a sports fan’s dream, and Summit attendees will have unlimited access to lounges and entertainment. Join us from 6pm-11pm on Wednesday, June 15 for an evening out in Reno. Complimentary round-trip shuttle transportation from the conference will be provided.
There’s so much to look forward to at Summit 2016 – this list only scratches the surface. We’re excited for the educational sessions, workshops, networking and an all-around great time.
