Performance Management at the City of Irving, Texas
As one of only two cities in the nation to receive the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, the City of Irving, Texas is known for performance excellence in the areas of leadership, strategic planning, customer and workforce focus, process improvement, and performance management. A key component of this, and a focus maintained to this day, is on ensuring accountability, transparency, and relying on data when making decisions about resource allocation and focus areas.
Today, all City employees can now see how their actions are aligned with the City’s strategic plan and can measure attainment of their goals.
In this webcast, part of our Government Innovation Series, you'll see how the City achieved this. Join us to learn how the City uses Information Builders' Performance Management Framework (PMF) to ensure a high level of accountability, including how it organizes and presents data to staff, council, and customers; how PMF serves as the hub for carrying out the agency's strategic plan; and how individual departments rely on PMF to track key processes and initiatives.
