2009-08-21: JOIN, MATCH, and MORE: Making the Connections
The workhorse of FOCUS and WebFOCUS reporting, JOIN, MATCH, and MORE, provide the connections between multiple data sources, allowing us to pull together the information that we need to use in our requests. This presentation will review the capabilities that each of these methods provides, highlighting the differences among them, and focusing on the optimal uses of each. The event will also explore advanced JOIN concepts with an emphasis on performance and optimization.
