WebFOCUS Quick Query lets end users query any data source and generate a report complete with data visualization, conditional styling, subtotals, filtering, and corporate logo. Highly customizable, Quick Query allows seamless incorporation of its functionality into your applications while maintaining their existing look and feel.

There are two ways to deploy Quick Query: from within WebFOCUS Managed Reporting or from a custom designed application.

  • A pure, thin-client architecture that enables users to build and save new reports via the Internet, with no additional desktop software, plug-ins, or JavaTM required
  • One-time, unlimited seat pricing that offers a more cost-effective solution for empowering any users in an organization with the ability to create their own reports
  • Drag-and-drop functionality that allows users to rapidly select required columns and specify sorts
  • Multiple selection criteria, so finished reports contain only the information the user needs to see
  • Conditional styling
  • Row and cumulative totals, IF-THEN-ELSE logic, and page breaks
  • Sorting and filtering capabilities
  • Multiple output formats including HTML, Excel 2000, PDF, viewer with on-demand paging, graph, and OLAP
  • Online reports
  • If configured under Managed Reporting; users can also run a deferred report if it has been saved as a custom report
  • Simple tabular reports or data visualization-enabled reports for advanced analysis
  • Optional scheduling and distribution capabilities for reports configured under Managed Reporting and saved as a custom report, so authorized users can deliver reports to e-mail, printers, fax machines, or their personal folder
