Security

WebFOCUS Open Portal Services supports internal and external security for delivering real-time business intelligence reports to authorized users within the mySAP Portal environment. Depending on the level and type of security required, administrators can structure and assign reports to individuals based upon the departments they work in or their organizational roles. Departmental security allows users to see reports only for the department to which they have access, such as accounting, finance, or sales. Role-based security allows individuals to view reports based upon their particular role within the organization – for example, CEOs may need to access information across various departments throughout the enterprise.
