FOCUS 6.9 for UNIX Now Available

Release 6.9 is a significant upgrade for FOCUS customers running Sun Solaris, IBM AIX, or HP-UX platforms. This release extends the scalability and compatibility between our two core offerings – WebFOCUS for real-time information delivery over the Web and iWay Software, Information Builders' new subsidiary for business integration.

FOCUS databases are now fully compatible with WebFOCUS and iWay applications, allowing companies to share a single database for Web reporting via WebFOCUS. For example, you can use the same MODIFY procedures in UNIX to maintain both your legacy and WebFOCUS data. Some additional highlights include:

Two-gigabyte FOCUS database allows twice the scalability of traditional FOCUS databases by doubling the amount of data that can be stored and reported against
Extended precision-packed data provides more precise reporting for organizations that need to analyze very large digits long
