A Thank You to Our Beta Testers

Customer reaction to and participation in the Information Builders WebFOCUS Beta Program has been very rewarding. We would like to thank everyone who participated for helping make WebFOCUS 7 an outstanding release. Beta testers hailed from all parts of the globe and represented a diverse group of business interests. Through our beta program, customers tested new product features and functionality, and sent feedback to our internal beta team. The internal WebFOCUS beta team included members from Customer Support, Quality Assurance, Product Management and Development. Feedback received immediate attention and was escalated promptly when necessary. Every release has a series of beta cycles that are matched up with the appropriate testers, who are selected according to their business requirements and requests. Beta testers have the advantage of playing with the product in the early stages of a release and, as such, they have a meaningful impact on the final result. Upon closing each beta cycle, our WebFOCUS beta team fine-tunes every project according to the testers' feedback.

We encourage everyone who hasn't had a chance to take part in our beta programs, but would like to participate, to stay tuned for announcements on future releases. All participants complete a registration form to ensure a wide range of users and system environments. All that's required is a willingness to install the product and test it against new and existing applications. We look forward to working with you.
