Welcome to a new community hosted by Information Builders – the recently launched Focal Point, a Web site for our application developers to share their experiences, ideas and technical know-how.

To join Focal Point, point your browsers to www.informationbuilders.com/focalpoint. Focal Point is the place we hope becomes your cyber home, where you will feel free to kick up your feet as you share information with your fellow application developers.

We have worked on Focal Point with our application developers in mind and incorporated some suggestions from customers to launch a community site that we hope will meet your developing needs. With your participation, this site will swiftly grow into a robust interactive network. Focal Point is designed to foster innovation and collaboration in the field of enterprise business intelligence application development among WebFOCUS application experts, architects, engineers and developers.

Focal Point includes the Information Builders forums, where visitors can exchange tips and techniques. These message boards combine the advantages of a listserv and an archive by supporting both push and pull technologies. You may browse or search the boards for particular topics, or you may sign yourself up to be notified by e-mail when a topic is updated.

In addition, Focal Point contains a myriad of resources to help you become better acquainted with all things WebFOCUS. Resources include the WebFOCUS Newsletter, Best Practices Guides and technical manuals.

From Focal Point, you may link to other Information Builders online offerings, such as our education curriculum and class schedule and our online case management tool. In the near future, the site also will feature exclusive content such as mini-demos that you may download.
