Exchange of Secure Data Between Public Health Partners Eased With New PHIN Adapter

Information Builders Hosts WebFOCUS Executive Directions Council Meeting
The enterprise business intelligence (BI) and reporting product's executive steering committee gathered in New York recently to discuss how WebFOCUS is meeting enterprise BI and integration needs and what direction member organizations would like future IT development initiatives to take. Members
include executives from the U.S. Air Force, Administaff, Target, AIG, Moneris, The United Nations, Lockheed Martin, Sunoco, and others. These meetings take place at least twice a year.
Themes included scalability, standardizing on one enterprise platform, the value of widely deployed BI tools, integrating service-oriented architecture, and security. Customers shared their views directly with Information Builders' top executives and product development team, as well as peers from a
wide range of industries.

iWay Product Advisory Council Kicks Off
iWay customers assembled at the software company's corporate headquarters in New York City last month to discuss IT Integration Strategy and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA). The goal of the two-day meeting was to share customer implementation stories with attendees from Collections Etc., Coty,
CORED, and many other leading organizations.
Meta Group's Dan Sholler opened up the meeting with an insightful industry presentation, and he and others addressed the evolution of the adapter and its role in future IT architectures. The consensus was that adapters will take on much more sophisitcated translation and process functions as integration and
processing responsibilities are distributed in SOA environments.
Forrester Adds WebFOCUS to the Ranks
Forrester Research, an independent research firm, has released a report that named Information Builders a leader in BI reporting and analysis solutions. Information Builders was ranked as a leader in every category – analytic reporting, enterprise reporting, and consolidated platform reporting.

Business Integration Journal has recognized iWay Software as Integration Vendor of the Year for 2004. The magazine's annual Business Integration Awards recognize excellence in business process management, application integration, and Web Services solutions.
