Q. When is the Information Builders Summit 2008 User Conference?
A.

This year's event will take place June 1-5, 2008 at Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville, Tennessee. You should plan to arrive in time for pre-event conference tutorials, labs and conference sessions, as well as our annual Sunday evening Welcome Reception to be held in the Solutions Pavilion exhibit area.

Q. Where do I get additional information about the conference?
A.

Updated program and speaker information will be posted on the Summit 2008 Web site. Please check back quarterly for additional details.

Q. How do I register for the conference?
A.

There are two ways to register for Summit 2008: register online, or download the registration form and send it via mail or fax it to (212) 268-7470.

Q. How can I make changes to my conference registration?
A.

Any changes to your original registration should be sent via e-mail to summit@ibi.com.

Q. How can I add myself to your mailing list?
A.

To add your name to our mailing list, send a written request, specifying the name, company and address you would like to have added to: Kathy Drago, Information Builders Summit 2008, Two Penn Plaza, New York, NY 10121-2898 or e-mail the info to summit@ibi.com.

Q. What is appropriate attire during the conference?
A.

Business casual attire is appropriate during the conference and evening events.

Q. How do I make hotel reservations?
A.

Special guestroom rates have been reserved for Summit 2008 attendees at Gaylord Opryland Resort. All rates will be extended to Summit attendees three days prior and three days following the event, based on availability. We suggest you contact hotel reservations at (888) 777-6779 and identify yourself as part of Information Builders Guest Room Block.

Q. How do I reach the site of the conference?
A.

Information Builders Summit 2008 User Conference will be held at Gaylord Opryland Resort, 15 minutes from Nashville International Airport. Airfare, hotel, and ground transportation are the responsibility of each attendee. Airlines serving Nashville are: American, Continental, Delta, Frontier, Northwest, Skyway/Midwest, Southwest, United, US Airways, Air Canada (Jazz), and JetBlue. Taxis are readily available at the airport and the average fare to the hotel is approximately $25 one way. Service is also available through Gaylord Opryland Shuttle Ticket Desk at the airport, located one level below the baggage claim area. Shuttle tickets can also be purchased through the Gaylord resort Web site. Tickets are $35 round trip and $25 one-way.

Q. Can I bring a guest to the conference?
A.

The companion program allows you to bring an adult friend or family member to several Summit 2008 events. Companion tickets are $595 and can be purchased either on-site at the conference registration desk or online.

Q. What is the weather like in Nashville in June?
A.

The average daytime temperature in Nashville during June is in the mid 80s. Nighttime lows may reach the mid 60s.
