Mr. Stafford is the former CIO of the State of New Mexico, where he developed the first strategic plan for New Mexico's IT future. His initiatives resulted in many successful e-government deployments and cross-agency collaboration. Previously, Mr. Stafford was a senior IT executive in the oil, gas, and financial services industries. He has been a director of KPMG Peat Marwick, LLP consulting services for e-commerce, served as a vice president for EDS, and served as senior vice president of Cap Gemini.
