Porter Thorndike is a Senior Technical Specialist at Information Builders. He has modeled a Cape Cod garage after the Double Deuce bar in Patrick Swayze's "Roadhouse". In 2001, at Pastis in New York, he invented the five-beverage brunch. He is known as the fastest computer trackpad driver in the world and once created a bubble-wrap vest. Porter is also known for his passion for data visualization and dashboard design. In 2013, he opened his Dashboard Laboratory, and hosts weekly visualization concerts and festivals. Porter enjoys applying his diverse skills and expertise to help Information Builders’ customers design the best damn applications they’ve ever seen.
