40 Years of Innovation Celebrated Around the World
2015 International Summits Recap
What better way to celebrate 40 years of innovation than in four cities – London, Frankfurt, Madrid and Mexico City – with 500+ attendees, in the span of two weeks. The 2015 International Summits were a true success!
Our keynotes were informative and customers, as always, presented their case studies and made us proud to be their solution provider. We had busy breakout sessions, and saw our customers, prospects, and partners find solutions, discuss new ideas, and of course, network and make new connections. Key topics this year included the new BI landscape and how analytics fits into your strategy.
Our analyst keynotes included BARC’s Carsten Bange, who shared his vision regarding digitalization and how to make a digital strategy a reality. José María López from Penteo spoke in Madrid on “Big Data vs. Business Intelligence.”
We also had an excellent presentation from our partner at MapR, who discussed how big data fits into your enterprise BI and analytics strategy. Lastly, we had the pleasure of having the editor of "Wired" speak at our UK Summit on six technology mega trends.
Additionally, several of our customers – Tata Steel (our award of distinction recipient for lifetime achievement), W & W, Professional Football League (LFP), Federal Commission of Electricity, and more – shared best practices and results from their BI and analytics projects. During these presentations we also got to see their solutions in action with some fabulous dashboards and data quality stats.
The Information Builders keynote session “The New BI and Analytics Landscape” delivered by executives Michael Corcoran, Rado Kotorov, and David Small provided an overview of our updated strategy and focus on international markets, as well as exciting announcements and trends.
Thank you for being part of this year’s Summit conferences. It was a special Summit season for us, as we celebrate 40 years of innovation! We look forward to seeing you again next year. Until then, take a look here to see all the fun, learning, and collaboration.
