Kevin Quinn Named a Top 50 Mid-Market IT Vendor Executive
Finding executives with the right balance of leadership, vision, loyalty and dedication to excellence is no easy feat. More than 30 years ago, Information Builders was lucky enough to find that balance in Kevin Quinn, and today we are proud to announce that he has been named one of the 2014 Top 50 Midmarket IT Vendor Executives. The list, organized by XChange Events, part of the Channel Company family, honors fifty influential vendor executives currently serving midmarket and midsized customers.
Those honored on this year’s list were announced earlier this week at the Midsize Enterprise Summit (MES) in Dallas, Texas. Kevin was on hand at the show, where he gave a product keynote presentation around empowering better decision-making. The presentation looked at what it takes to arm the entire organization – executives, managers, front-line workers, even partners and customers – with the timely, relevant information capital needed to understand situations and take actions.
As vice president of Product Management at Information Builders, Kevin knows a thing or two about how to achieve information sharing and BI success. Since joining the Information Builders team in 1983, Kevin has moved through the ranks and seen the industry reinvent itself over the course of his more that thirty-year career with the company. Kevin’s position gives him the unique opportunity to be involved in the entire product development cycle – from the birth of a product idea, through to implementation and enhancement processes.
Kevin knows what goes into making an effective BI product that can benefit users across an organization, and his deep understanding of the BI marketplace, coupled with his leadership in product development, has been integral in helping countless companies worldwide develop information deployment strategies that enhance decision-making and improve corporate performance. His knowledge and dedication in these areas are key components of what makes him a top Midmarket IT Vendor Executive. Thank you, Kevin, for your years of hard work, and congratulations on this well-deserved honor!
