Going to BAI Retail Delivery 2015? Be sure to stop by Information Builders' booth #723.

Information Builders is getting ready to head out to Las Vegas this week for BAI Retail Delivery 2015. We’re looking forward to what’s sure to be a great event filled with the latest and greatest from the retail banking sector.

If you’re at the show, be sure to stop by Information Builders’ booth #723 to discuss the evolution of retail banking and the increasing dominance of digital customer engagement in the space. Information Builders executives will be on hand to offer demos and discuss how banks can organize, cleanse and master their data in preparation to deliver effortless digital customer engagement through integrated data management and analytics. Need more incentive to visit the booth? The team will be giving away an Apple Watch Sport, and the only way to win is to stop by for more details.

As we look forward to the week ahead, we thought we’d also take a look back at some of the work we’ve done with our great banking customers across regions and how we’ve been able to help them conquer their challenges in the space.

  • US Bank – National banking giant US Bank needed a comprehensive BI environment to serve the reporting needs of dozens of divisions, hundreds of developers and hundreds of thousands of users. The company turned to WebFOCUS to streamline access to corporate data, establish a BI competency center to train users and make BI software available to a broader group of both users and developers. The result? US Bank now has a secure and pervasive reporting environment that is integrated into the core activities and business processes at the bank, improving outcomes for both employees and customers.
  • CECA – Created in 1928, the Spanish Confederation of Savings Banks (CECA) is the national association of 45 Spanish banks. The association was looking to improve innovation among members through the delivery of state-of-the-art services. To achieve this, the company worked with Information Builders to implement a Personal Financial Management (PFM) application – a robust BI platform that facilitates the fast, efficient development and delivery of highly-visual budgeting, and spending guidance. Deployed for online, tablet or smartphone, CECA enCuenta becomes an invaluable “banker in your pocket”.
  • Scotiabank – Canada’s most international bank was struggling with an outdated sales information infrastructure that caused delays in the delivery and validation of key information needed for growth. Information Builders worked with Scotiabank to create a comprehensive sales reporting environment with automatic data feeds across product lines. Using iWay, Scotiabank was able to capture data originating from numerous systems and deliver weekly sales reports to the bank’s 1,024 branches. Developers now have less code to maintain, sales staff get faster access to results and banking officers have more than 70,000 additional hours available for more customer interaction and better service.

There’s no doubt that Information Builders is excited about and well-versed in the retail banking industry – its our largest industry served. If you’re in Las Vegas next week, be sure to stop by and learn about how we can help you tackle your challenges in the space.
