The BI Survey

Information Builders Invites You to Participate

The BI Survey
The goal of the BI (Business Intelligence) Survey is to provide a comprehensive view of the BI market by asking end-users, developers and managers to share their opinions of BI products.

Independent analyst Nigel Pendse's BI Survey (formerly known as the "OLAP Survey") provides unique insight into the business intelligence (BI) market by collecting the opinions and experiences of actual business and technical users of a wide variety of business intelligence applications and tools from a number of different vendors.  This year, the BI Survey is opening an invitation to anyone using Information Builders' WebFOCUS to participate and share their opinions for inclusion and publication in the next release of the Survey.

The BI Survey obtains input from a large number of BI and reporting application users to better understand their buying decisions, the implementation cycle, the vendor landscape, and the business challenges faced during development and roll-out of BI applications. Both business users and technical respondents are welcome to participate in the survey.

The BI Survey is strictly independent. While Information Builders and other vendors faciliate the survey by inviting users to participate, vendors do not sponsor the survey, nor influence the questionnaire design or survey results in any way. As a participant, you will not only have the opportunity to ensure your experiences are included in the analyses, but you will receive a free summary of the results from the full survey. You will also have a chance of winning one of ten $50 vouchers for use on Amazon.com.

The survey is available in English and German language versions, takes about 15 minutes to complete, and is available only for a limited time, so participate now if you'd like your opinions on business intelligence to be heard.
